A few words about LVD

The LVD Directive 2014/35 / EU replaced the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95 / EC. The purpose of this Directive is to ensure that electrical equipment on the market fulfills the requirements which guarantee a high level of protection of the health and safety of persons and of pets and property while ensuring the functioning of the internal market.

A few words about EMC directive

The EMC Directive 2014/30 / EU replaces Directive 2004/108 / EC on Electromagnetic Compatibility which had replaced Directive 89/336 / EEC.
The EMC Directive applies to all products that may cause electromagnetic disturbance or whose operation may be affected by such a disturbance.

The RED Directive 2014/53 / EU replaces Directive 1999/5 / EC on radio equipment. The Radio Equipment applies to any electrical or electronic product that deliberately emits and / or receives radio waves for radio communication and / or radiodetermination purposes, or an electrical or electronic product to be supplemented with an accessory for that purpose.

RoHS (Restriction of use of certain Hazardous Substances)

A few words about RoHS

The RoHS Directive 2011/65 / EU lays down rules to limit the use of hazardous substances (elements such as lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium, PBB and PBDE combustion retardant) above allowable limits for electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) to contribute to the protection of human health and the environment, including the environmentally sound recovery and disposal of electrical and electronic waste.
